We just updated from Odoo V18 to v19.
Before, when we created a manufacturing order, a pick components was created. If components were not available, also an RFQ was created for purchasing those components.
In this RFQ, the project configured in the manufacturing order was automatically filled, as well the related analytical distribution.
After the update, this flow still works like this, but the projecgt and analytical distribution are not filled in the RFQ.
Anyone else noticed this behavior? What setting is responisble for this?
Also, doing this investigation, I noticed that also in the past, the project was not filled in the Pick components transfer.

Edit: I added some screenshots from the old setup (previous Odoo version) to make more clear what we expect: the analytic distribution being automatically filled in the RFQ.
Can you explain a bit more about the configuration and the flow. I suppose this must be MTO but I've not seen it working like this - maybe you found a way to achieve this that wasn't supported / documented and changes in v19 caused it to break?

I double checked, but I don't see any automation or modification we added ourselves to make it work like this.
We only have 1 automation and some minor display studio changes, for the rest we use the default configuration. It worked like this 'out of the box'.
I checked the changelog of v19, and didn't find anything that could relate to this.
The only difference I noted that might be related (big questionmark) is the lack of propagation option in routes. Was something changed in that logic or flow? Or did I miss some settings?

Yes, propagate has been removed. There's a replacement setting for vendors to control how RFQs / Purchase Orders are created, but nothing (that I am aware of) for creating MOs.

The link on analytic account was primarily designed for projects, and maybe when they allowed an MO to be linked to a project that created the functionality you have been using. But now it has gone.
Many of these links in Odoo work in slightly mysterious ways and aren't very well documented
